Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions. Ensure accurate processing of sales, returns, and exchanges. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and product offerings to assist customers effectively. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a tidy shopping environment. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. Address customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Uphold company policies regarding phone etiquette and customer interactions. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences. Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers. Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately. Experience in supervising staff is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly valued for effective communication with diverse customers. Familiarity with stock management practices to maintain inventory levels. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
