Cashier / Guest Experience Associate 2 Scoops & Sprinkles 12995 South Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers, FL 33907 Job Summary As a Cashier, you’re the first and last face our guests see — and your friendliness sets the tone. You’ll handle orders and payments with accuracy and speed while ensuring each customer leaves happy. Duties Greet customers warmly, assist them throughout their shopping experience, and answer menu questions. Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently. Operate the POS system and handle cash management duties, including balancing the register at the end of shifts. Upsell products by effectively communicating promotions and special offers to customers. Maintain an organized checkout area and ensure that it is stocked with necessary supplies. Assist in restocking shelves and managing inventory as needed. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the front counter and dining area Assist in prepping toppings, refilling supplies, and helping scoopers when needed Handle customer concerns with positivity and professionalism Support closing/opening duties as needed Provide support to Shift Lead and/or Owners in training new cashiers and maintaining store policies. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the checkout process. Requirements Proven experience in a retail environment is preferred, with a focus on cash handling. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to upsell products through effective sales techniques. Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate transaction processing. Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.
