This role serves as a key liaison between management and the service team, and supports training, floor operations, and guest relations in a refined, detail-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Shift Leadership:
Provide professional leadership to team members during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient operations and Ohana are meeting company standards, and assisting restaurant leadership with employee development under the direction of the Partner. Maintain a visible presence on the floor, acting as a point of contact for guests and staff. Open and close the restaurant according to procedures. Key Leads are expected to work a variety of shifts that may include nights, weekends and holidays. Provide clear direction and guidance to team members, delegating tasks and responsibilities. Motivate and inspire the team to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts diplomatically
Operations & Standards:
Maintain a clean, organized, safe and secure work environment. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including timing, presentation, and etiquette Participate in training and development activities for team members. Perform routine cleaning/maintenance tasks and report any needed repairs. Assist in managing inventory of FOH supplies and tools
Sales & Guest Experience:
Ensure a positive guest experience by providing excellent service and addressing complaints effectively. Promote products and services to increase sales.
Administrative Tasks:
Complete necessary paperwork and reports. Manage daily staffing/shift levels. Participate in inventory counts and other administrative tasks. Other duties as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Must be at least 21 years old Four-year degree in relevant industry preferred, but not required 2+ years of experience in polished casual/fine dining restaurant Prior supervisory and/or cash handling experience preferred Familiarity with restaurant POS, Microsoft office programs Ability to pass background check
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be on your feet, standing and walking for extended periods (up to 5+ hours at a time) Ability to bend, lift, reach, and carry up to 50 lbs Comfortable navigating stairs, narrow hallways, and busy service areas Must be able to move quickly and gracefully in a fast-paced environment Manual dexterity for handling service tools, menus, trays, and glassware Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Ability to communicate clearly and effectively OS Pacific dba Roys is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
