The ideal candidate will have experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or café, providing excellent customer service while handling cash transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining smooth operations at the register. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their orders. Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the cash register or Aloha POS system. Handle cash with care, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and dining space. Assist with bussing tables and keeping the restaurant tidy during peak hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance their dining experience. Promote menu items and upsell when appropriate to increase sales. Experience Previous experience as a Cashier in a quick service fast food restaurant or café is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in restaurant operations, including knowledge of kitchen processes, is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining individual accountability for tasks.
