Cashier Brothers & Sister BBQ Pitt 4530 NW 27th Avenue, Miami, FL 33142 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. This role is essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers in a retail or grocery store environment. Duties Operate the cash register and process customer transactions with accuracy. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product demos. Maintain an organized and stocked checkout area, ensuring products are readily available for customers. Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate change is given to customers. Qualifications Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills to handle transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to assist where needed. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
