Cashiers Steve’s Pizza Express 20216 Old Cutler Road, Cutler Bay, FL 33189 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team at our grocery store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register and POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Promote store products through effective upselling techniques and product demos. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area. Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory as needed. Adhere to all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone. Skills Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Experience in cash handling and operating cash registers is essential. Strong retail sales skills with the ability to sell products effectively. Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers positively. Ability to perform product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits of items.
