One of our flagship brands, ZURU Ramen , is a fun, energetic neighborhood ramen bar, co-located with Mochinut , a trendy dessert and beverage brand offering mochi donuts, bubble tea, and more. We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and efficient Cashier / Food Service Employee to join the ZURU Ramen & Mochinut team. This role is key in delivering a seamless guest experience—from greeting and taking orders to serving food and drinks with a smile. You’ll work across both brands, providing great service while staying organized and energetic in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide excellent, friendly customer service Take dine-in and takeout orders using the POS system accurately Prepare and serve beverages, including bubble tea and other specialty drinks Assist with mochi donut handling, packaging, and food plating for dine-in service Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure smooth order flow Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front of house, drink station, and self-serve areas Handle cash, card payments, and receipts accurately and responsibly Restock supplies, monitor inventory, and report low stock to managers Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Support team members as needed to keep service running efficiently Requirements Previous experience in a cashier, counter-service, or quick-service restaurant role preferred Great communication skills and a guest-first attitude Strong attention to detail, especially when taking orders and handling food Comfort with multitasking and staying organized during peak hours Basic familiarity with POS systems and drink-making processes (training provided) Willingness to learn and assist across different tasks (e.g., drinks, food running, expo) Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends Why Join Black Penguin Hospitality Group?
