The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the checkout process. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Process sales efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers. Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Experience in supervising or training new staff is an advantage.
