Gas Attendant/Cashier Shell Acworth Plaza Acworth, GA 30101 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role is essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return. Duties Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their purchases. Upsell products and promotions to enhance the customer shopping experience. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all stock is properly displayed. Process returns and exchanges according to company policy. Answer customer inquiries regarding products, store policies, and promotions over the phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette. Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers. Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus but not mandatory.
