National Truck Stop is looking for a dependable and customer-friendly cashier to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact for truck drivers and travelers, helping with purchases, fuel transactions, and keeping the store running smoothly. Cashier will be responsible for managing transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the cashiering process using various systems, including Comdata Register, and Topaz register.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide excellent service Operate POS register to process fuel, food, and merchandise purchases Handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and provide correct change Keep the front counter clean and organized Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed Maintain cleanliness throughout the store Assist with opening and closing duties Report any issues or safety concerns to management

Requirements:

Previous cashier or retail experience preferred (but not required) Reliable, friendly, and professional Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask Must be able to stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and basic math skills Flexible schedule — including weekends or evening shifts if needed
