Responsibilities:

• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues
• Utilize strong communication skills to interact with customers and promote sales
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment
• Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payments accurately
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise when needed
• Demonstrate proficiency in retail math to calculate prices, discounts, and change
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and targets

Skills:

• Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer interaction skills
• Experience in wireless or electronics sales is advantageous
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy retail setting
• Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members
• Knowledge of stock management principles to assist in inventory tasks
