Mesera/Cajera De Horno Inc Stockbridge, GA 30281 Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent guest services and a strong ability to handle cash transactions accurately. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests while managing the cash register and assisting with various front-of-house tasks. Weekday pay + tips Duties Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit. Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the cash register. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to billing or service promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment as needed. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently. Collaborate with team members to enhance guest relations and overall satisfaction. Perform basic math calculations for accurate cash handling and reporting at the end of shifts. Experience Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment are essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus, ensuring compliance with health regulations. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to sales and customer engagement are highly valued.
