  • Our customer comes first . While ensuring that company funds are secure and that transactions are appropriately finalized; customers are always given the attention that they deserve and require. Customers are given the appropriate level of attention, company assets are secured and transactions properly processed. ADM27
  • Outgoing mail is taken out first thing in the morning. Mail goes out every morning. CA1
  • Key in all Sales with the correct SKU number. Make sure all sales are keyed in correctly and they have the correct address and two phone numbers. CA2
  • Handle cash, credit cards and check transactions . Close out daily activity. There are no shortages, and all transactions balance. CA3
  • Process Credit Applications. Key the Application into the computer and wait for a response back from the Credit Company to see if they get Credit or decline, and then key in the sale. CA4
  • Wrap accessories carefully. Accessories are properly wrapped. CA5
  • Assist sales associates as required. Sales associates’ questions are answered and assistance rendered. CA7
  • Handle incoming phone calls by paging the appropriate associate or manager.

Customers with sales related questions provide opportunities for sales associates. Customers requesting any type of sales information are connected with a sales associate, and no attempt to answer the question is made, even when the answer is known, unless no one else is available. Take full responsibility for any incoming call. Customers are not left on hold for more than 45 seconds, and all calls are handled with the utmost professionalism in accordance with company policies.   • Vacuum the store as required. The store is vacuumed per the following schedule: __________________________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________________________ Upholstery is also vacuumed as needed. Spots on carpets or upholstery are quickly attended to. Carpeting and upholstery are appropriately maintained. CL10
  • Assist with the tagging and placement of accessories. Appropriate assistance is afforded the display department, as time allows. WAM2
  • Produce documentation for returns or exchanges to be given to delivery for pick up. Returns and exchanges are properly processed. General G1
  • Perform other tasks as requested by management . Volunteer as time allows. You understand that there is no such thing as “it’s not my job,” and you participate in a total team effort. G2
  • Ensure that not too many other tasks are migrating into your job description. Inform management of your inability to successfully complete your own job description tasks, due to too many ‘special’ projects. Management is made aware of too many tasks migrating into your job description G3
  • Participate in evaluations as required. Work as a team with management to develop your own performance. Performance improvement is successfully accomplished, and management supports your efforts. G4
  • Develop professional working relationships with all company employees and all teams. Conflicts get resolved quickly, permanently and with management’s assistance as needed. There is strong evidence to indicate that good working relationships exist with all employees and that conflict resolution is sought as needed. G5
  • Assist in the training of other employees. Training of other employees is consistently performed in a positive manner, and up to company expectations. G6
  • Participate in the taking of physical inventories. You participate as scheduled; your counts are timely and accurate. CL5
  • Report problems on the floor that require special attention. Problems that cannot be solved through normal cleaning efforts are reported to management. CL9
  • Clean up spills or accidents during the day. Emergency clean up is performed as needed ADM25
  • Check memo book for new memos.

Read new memos and initial and date at top. Memos are read by employees and initialed appropriately.
