Cashier and Stocker Luau Pools 1315 East Walnut Avenue, Dalton, GA 30721 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing transactions at the point of sale and ensuring that products are well-stocked and presented on the sales floor. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoy interacting with customers. Responsibilities Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to customers. Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels and assist in reordering products as necessary. Perform product demonstrations to educate customers about new items or promotions. Supervise junior staff members during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain effective phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone. Run Water Samples for Pools and Spad Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems for processing transactions. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Experience with stock management and product merchandising is a plus. A friendly demeanor with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
