As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers in a retail or grocery store environment. Responsibilities Operate the cash register and process customer transactions with accuracy. Assist customers with product inquiries and provide information on promotions or sales. Sell products effectively while maintaining knowledge of store offerings. Perform stock checks and assist in restocking shelves as needed.. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area. Utilize basic math skills to handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus. Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers.
