Cashier/Attendant The Rose Casino, LLC 4301 Main St, La Place, LA 70068 Company The Rose Casino, LLC Job Title Casino Attendant Job Summary This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of casino floor activities. Responsibilities Assist customers in a professional and courteous manner, answering inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized casino floor by monitoring and restocking supplies as needed. Monitor gaming areas to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing customer wins and payouts. Provide information and guidance on casino games to new players. Report any suspicious activities or potential violations of gaming regulations to management. Qualifications Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a casino or hospitality setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic mathematical calculations. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Compliance with all regulatory requirements and policies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 21 years old. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations. Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers. Knowledge of various casino games and their rules Experience in handling and resolving customer complaints effectively.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in a casino or hospitality industry Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles Additional certifications or training in responsible gaming or problem gambling prevention is a plus.
