Starting Pay:

$13/ hour Your safety is our priority! We are about 3 blocks away from the police station, the store is equipped with video Security system, inside and outside the Store. Position Summary The Cashier/Stocker is responsible for maintaining guest service as per company standard, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising (receiving/stocking), cash register operations (POS), and loss prevention, and store security in adherence to all company policies/store standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service.  Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and lottery accountability at POS registers  Responsible for store security (ensure store is properly secured and locked; properly follow opening and closing procedure)  Responsible for store housekeeping (properly follow daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping procedure) Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)  High school diploma or GED preferred (can be substituted with proper prior experience)  One to two years prior customer service/cashier/register handling experience  Basic knowledge of POS systems Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
