The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manual transmission vehicles. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality service. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload products, utilizing pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in the organization of the warehouse or loading area as needed. Experience Previous experience in route driving or commercial driving is preferred. Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling of goods is essential. Strong customer service skills are necessary for effective communication with clients.
