Position Summary:

This Cashier position is responsible for providing excellent customer service by efficiently and accurately processing sales transactions, handling payments, assisting customers with inquiries, answering phones for take-out orders and organizing and bagging to-go and take-out orders. The Cashier also helps maintain a clean and organized checkout area and may perform basic stocking or housekeeping tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Answering phones and placing take-out orders through point-of-sale equipment. Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment. Accurately handle cash, credit/debit card, and other forms of payment. Answer customer questions about menu and ordering. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the checkout counters and surrounding areas. Bag and box food orders as needed. Perform light stocking and merchandising duties when checkout area is slow.
