We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the register. You will also be cross-trained to handle various responsibilities around the front end and on the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Checkout Process:

Accurately scan and process customer purchases using cash registers and self-checkout machines.

Lottery and Cigarettes:

Sell lottery tickets and cigarettes in compliance with store policies and legal regulations.

Transactions:

Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Stocking Shelves:

Assist in stocking shelves around the front end and on the sales floor, ensuring products are neatly displayed and easily accessible.

Inventory Management:

Help monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the management team.

Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and front end.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly. Willingness to be cross-trained in various tasks. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Availability:

Currently, we are looking for individuals who can work Monday evenings, and Friday’s, Saturday’s, and Sunday’s.
