The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen ability to handle transactions accurately. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional experience for our customers at our quick service fast food restaurant. Your responsibilities will include processing payments, assisting customers with their inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the register system. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs. Upsell products when appropriate to enhance the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at the checkout area. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and responsibly. Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations. Qualifications Previous experience in retail or food service is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Basic knowledge of retail math to handle transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in upselling products is a plus. Familiarity with sanitation practices in the food industry is beneficial. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
