We are looking for an individual to provide outstanding service for our liquor store. The ideal candidate is an organized, dependable, responsible individual who has a passion for providing customers with an exceptional experience and takes ownership of the overall upkeep of the store.

DUTIES:

Performs stocking of shelves, display cases and coolers throughout each shift and as needed. Receives deliveries of stock and verifies incoming stock through the POS system. Lift heavy boxes 25-45lbs and use a hand truck or dolly to pull stock from inventory. Ensures stock, cases and bottles are put away according to store rules. Notifies the Manager of any broken bottles or undelivered items. Maintains the store cleanliness through dusting shelves, bottles, displays; Sweeping and mopping floors, and wiping counters and spills if they occur; Breaking down boxes and trash removal. Greets, interacts and assists customers with their purchases Provides excellent customer service and engage customers to address their concerns Performs cashier duties, including operating cash register/point-of-sales (POS) system. Follows drawer closure and balancing policies. This job also requires the ability to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull Stand for periods of time Restock throughout the shift and ensure accurate description/price of product(s) are listed Follows Store opening and closing store procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalency degree Must be at least 21 years of age Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills with a positive and welcoming attitude Preferred 2-3 yrs retail experience Preferred experience using a POS system, cash register, scanner, calculator, computer experience Must be able to list 25 – 45lbs with no physical limitations Experience working in a liquor or packaged store, a plus Basic knowledge or wines and/or spirits, a plus
