The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while processing transactions accurately and efficiently. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers in a grocery store environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed during their shopping experience. Process customer transactions quickly and accurately, ensuring all sales are recorded properly. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, maintaining an accurate cash drawer throughout shifts. Assist with product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer engagement and drive sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding products or services. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Uphold company policies regarding phone etiquette and customer interactions. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
