CAGE CASHIER Hourly Rate:
$15.00 – $19.50
FLSA Status:
Full-Time Non-Exempt Two Kings Casino is hiring a Cage Cashier to join our team. Cage Cashiers handle large amounts of currency, cash checks, redeem tickets, vouchers, table games chip to guests in a professional manner displaying a high standard of guest service. Work Experience Handle large sums of money in an accurate manner, including validating tickets for guests and paying accordingly, distributing cash to associates for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers’ checks, providing check approval, check cashing service and cash advance services. Maintain an accurate count of drawers. Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor. Issue and redeem chips, process chip fills and credits. Write, verify, make payouts on winning sportsbook tickets and cash vouchers in accordance with department policy and procedures. Perform as a team member and assist fellow employees to ensure a smooth operation. Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures. Complete other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
Experience handling large amounts of money. Six months’ cash handling experience preferred. Excellent organization and guest service skills. Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction. Basic computer skills preferred. Must be able to obtain a Gaming License. Physical Requirements Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds. Exposure to high volume noise. Catawba Indian Nation exercises
