Cashier/FOH Staff Town Hall Burger & Beer Durham 7830 NC Highway 751, Durham, NC 27713 Town Hall Burger and Beer in Durham @ South Point’s neighborhood is now interviewing candidates for our Front Of House staff with a knack for hospitality and a team player mentality! The responsibilities of FOH team members are to greet guests, help them with menu recommendations, take and deliver orders (carry trays), and clear tables. All our FOH team members are also responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions. To help our restaurant provide a pleasurable dining experience, a good cashier should be able to ensure that our guests are fully satisfied by being friendly, courteous, accommodating, and reliable. A suitable candidate for the job should also be a problem-solver and a team player. FOH Team:
Greeting, and seating guests as needed. Providing menu recommendations and additional information. Upselling additional products when appropriate. Checking ID’s to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages. Taking orders using software, order slips, or by tablets. Communicating order details to the kitchen staff. Delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion. Pre-bussing tables, assisting with guest refills or to-go needs Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware. Providing exceptional customer experience. Qualifications Excellent communication skills Proficiency in operating a cash register Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment Strong customer service skills Ability to handle cash transactions accurately Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices Basic math skills for handling transactions efficiently
