  • are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of what makes Chick-fil-A great, our service and guest experience.

A Shift Supports two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Supports lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Candidates have the opportunity to progress towards their area of strength and career interest while working in Operations. These can include Human Resources (Talent), Training, Inventory, Community Outreach/Marketing, Customer Experience, Food Safety, Facilities, and/or Hospitality.

  • Shift Support Responsibilities:
  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
  • Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest’s needs
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
  • Count drawers and finalize day
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Monitor product quality to ensure that guests receive the best product through each and every transaction
  • Preserve a safe work environment by ensuring that all Team Members are informed of and respecting the Employee Health Policy
  • Optimize guest experiences by ensuring that speed and accuracy are held in high regard without rushing guests
  • Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Prior experience working in high-volume, fast-paced, guest-focused environment is not required but is preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
