The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of cash handling procedures, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers while accurately processing transactions. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Accurately handle cash transactions, including processing payments and giving change. Maintain knowledge of store products to assist customers with inquiries and menu recommendations. Operate the POS terminal and be responsible for cash receipts. Generate additional sales whenever possible by suggesting additional menu items to the customer. Stock adequate supplies of paper goods, condiments, beverages, etc. for serving customer Communicate effectively with team members regarding inventory levels and customer needs. Cleaning is always a part of Cashiers’ responsibilities Uphold store policies regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer interaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
