The responsibilities of a Cashier/FOH team members are to greet guests, help them with menu recommendations, take and deliver orders (carry trays), and clear tables. All our FOH team members are also responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions. To help our restaurant provide a pleasurable dining experience, a good cashier should be able to ensure that our guests are fully satisfied by being friendly, courteous, accommodating, and reliable. FOH Team:

Greeting, and seating guests as needed. Providing menu recommendations and additional information. Upselling additional products when appropriate. Checking ID’s to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages. Taking orders using software, order slips, or by tablets. Communicating order details to the kitchen staff. Delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion. Pre-bussing tables, assisting with guest refills or to-go needs Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware. Providing exceptional customer experience. Qualifications Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling transactions accurately Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
