Checker Role Overview Verifies the accuracy and quality of products received from vendors and shipments to customers. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Physically counts full goods, damaged and empties being returned to the plant by route sales and delivery personnel. Performs vehicles inspections. Assists with reloading of deliveries. Separates good product from bad product on chip pallet and handles each separately. Opens and closes the gatehouse at the facility. Coaches and communicates directions to drivers entering and exiting the facility. Maintains accurate logs and records on deliveries, shipments, and incoming and outgoing traffic. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Strong basic math skills required. Good communication skills required. Must have good interpersonal skills. Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
