Your Day at Lowe’s Whetheryou’re answering customer questions or assisting with payments andexchanges, your job as a cashier is to ensure every customer leavesour stores satisfied. While most of your time will be spent at theregister, you may be expected to engage in other activities asneeded, such as helping other departments, stocking shelves, ormoving carts. - Deliver a fast, friendly, and professionalcheckout experience
- Proactively assist customers in theself-checkout area
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
- Answer customerquestions
- Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
- Completeother duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
- Reading, writing,and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experienceusing a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, oroutputting information
- Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over15lbs with or without accommodation
- Obtain sales-relatedlicensure or registration if required by law in your statePreferred Qualifications
- Retail and/or customer serviceexperience

TravelRequirements This role does not require regular travel; however,this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, orto support neighboring stores. Working Conditions Environmentalfactors vary by location. You may be working in both inside andoutside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, includingextreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or draftyconditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant orintermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects andequipment. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume.
