Cashier/Retail and Candy Staff Kellerhaus 259 Endicott Street North, Laconia, NH 03246 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong desire to help customers find the right products for their needs. This role involves engaging with customers, managing inventory, and contributing to a positive shopping experience in our retail environment. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain an organized candy and retail space and ensure that shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about products and services. Support training junior and summer staff as needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of sales techniques and customer engagement. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential for efficient transaction processing. Strong phone etiquette skills to effectively communicate with customers over the phone. Ability to perform stock management tasks, including inventory checks and restocking shelves as needed.
