The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register effectively. A passion for retail sales and product demonstrations is a plus. Duties Operate the cash register, processing customer transactions quickly and accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. Assist with sales by promoting products and conducting product demos to enhance customer experience. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that stock is replenished as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and customers, fostering a positive shopping environment. Support retail sales efforts by upselling products when appropriate. Experience Previous experience in a cashier or retail sales position is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.
