Smoothie Maker/Cashier 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Summit, NJ 07901 Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Smoothie Maker to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious and nutritious smoothies while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace. Duties Prepare and blend a variety of smoothies according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the Aloha POS system for processing orders and handling transactions efficiently. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling practices. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the smoothie station, equipment, and café area. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support overall café operations. Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, promoting repeat business through excellent service. Experience Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is beneficial. Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Experience with coffee preparation is a plus, enhancing the overall beverage offerings. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks effectively.
