In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail sales, contributing to the overall success of our store.

MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD TO WORK AT OUR STORE.

Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and securely. Process sales transactions and returns while maintaining a high level of customer service. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers. Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory counts. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store. Accept deliveries when needed, and put all product away. Skills Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role is preferred. Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers with accuracy. Strong understanding of retail math to assist with inventory management and sales reporting. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more. Ability to use a stepladder to access cases of product. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus but not required. Demonstrated phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution in a retail environment.
