The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and customer service, with the ability to create beautiful arrangements that meet our customers’ needs. As a Florist, you will play a key role in enhancing our customers’ experiences through your artistry and expertise in floral arrangements. Duties Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their preferences. Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality. Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the display area for flowers. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth operations. Utilize retail math skills to manage pricing, sales, and inventory effectively. Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to enhance product offerings. Qualifications Proven experience in customer service and retail sales, preferably in a floral or related environment. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of lawn care is a plus but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems. Ability to work creatively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for flowers and an eye for design are essential. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed. $16.00 – $24.29 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Day shift Holidays Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
