Restaurant part time cashier Rice Kitchen 204 Spring Street, New York, NY 10012 Rice Kitchen, located in Soho, is a fast-casual Korean restaurant that serves up kimbaps, tofu bites, and Rice Kitchen bowls. We are looking for cashier positions.

• Responsibilities :

• Answers the phone and greets the customers courteously, assisting them in ordering the meal. (Event, walk-in, call-in, takeout and catering orders)
• Understanding the menu to guide customers on choosing items and to be able to answer questions
• Responsible for packaging and labeling take out packages
• Ensure all necessary components are included for each order
• Responsible for processing cash payments
• Making sure surroundings are organized and clean all the time

• Requirement :

• Previous cashier experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to multitask and organize multiple orders at the same time
• Ability to place orders through POS system
• Must be able to work on weekends
• Speaking Korean is a big plus but not required
• Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
• NYC food protection certificate is a big plus
