Spa Host/Cashier Russian and Turkish Baths 268 East 10th Street, New York, NY 10009 The Historic Russian & Turkish Baths is seeking several hosts/cashiers (preferably with hospitality / retail experience) for immediate employment at its East Village location.

Who We’re Looking For:

Outgoing, responsible, positive individuals who can accurately explain the facility and the baths experience. Eager and sales-oriented professionals with enthusiasm about our spa. Must be a people-person with natural charisma that creates rapport with customers. A punctual individual that can be trusted to run the front of house.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Confidently answer all client inquiries regarding the baths experience. Be proficient in operating the point of sale system and run credit card transactions. Distribute all customer necessities, such as robes, shorts, towels, etc. Maintain an exceptional customer experience at every touch point of the clients experience in the spa. Maximizing retail potential through sales of multi passes and products. Coordinate smooth running of daily business, while effectively communicating baths’ policies, with tact and professionalism Manage customer complaints with confidence. Ensuring the front desk and workstations are clean according to Health & Safety guidelines, and stocked with the products. Communicate effectively and professionally with all the whole team throughout the day and day-to-day handover. Work to support management by covering all necessary shifts. Portray a professional image at all times, ensuring high-standard representation of the brand, and consistently maintaining a positive demeanor.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Should have 2+ years with customer service and retail. Must be flexible to work a reasonable combination of evenings and rotating holidays, and weekends shifts. Must be consistently punctual, reliable, flexible, and dedicated to assigned work commitments.
