The Cashier’s job is to consistently ensure the highest customer service experience for all customers. They will process all transactions in the store according to proper company procedures. They will maintain inventory on the sales floor, in coolers, and in freezers according to company procedures. They will maintain all safety protocols and standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Report to work on time for scheduled shift and properly dressed in work attire. Maintain a neat and clean store, clean as needed Process transactions for payment via cash, credit, debit, and gift card. Handle cash accurately and responsibly, make correct change as needed. Balance cash drawers and complete cash handling reports as needed. Receive and unload deliveries of inventory and product according to proper company procedures. Restock product on shelves, coolers, and freezers as needed and according to proper plan-o-grams. Sell tobacco products in accordance with all legal requirements, request and verify identification when required. Sell alcohol products in accordance with all legal requirements, request and verify identification when required. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe fuel handling at all times. Follow company’s guidelines and procedures Maintain a safe environment by identifying and addressing safety hazards. Report maintenance needs to management as needed. Provide excellent customer service at all times. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to stand, bend, and kneel continuously throughout shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and perform basic mathematic calculations.
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must have reliable means of transportation.
