Part Time Cashier Mill Hall Pharmacy, Inc 260 Main Street, Mill Hall, PA 17751 Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing an excellent experience by accurately processing transactions and assisting with various store operations. This is a fast-paced environment and you must have a strong work ethic and dedication to punctuality. The hours for this position will be Monday-Friday (various scheduled days as needed) 3-7pm and every 3rd Saturday 9am-5pm. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked. Collaborate with team members to maintain store standards and assist in stocking when necessary. Adhere to all company policies regarding cash handling and security. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for accurate cash management and change calculation. Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn quickly. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team.
