Cashier Taichi Bubble Tea- Gunbarrel Rd Chattanooga, TN 37421 Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register effectively. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential in ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Duties Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed. Accurately process customer transactions using a cash register, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure an organized shopping environment. Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer knowledge of products. Answer customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies with professionalism. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area to provide a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required. Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for accurate transaction processing. Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is an advantage. A background in grocery store operations is a plus, but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively.
