Pizza Maker/Cashier Open Road Wood Fired Pizz Knoxville, TN 37924 Overview We are seeking a passionate Pizza Cook/Front of house worker to join our dynamic mobile pizza company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious pizzas. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while working in a fast-paced environment. Experience not required but reliable transportation is a must as we are at different locations weekly. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours. Assist with catering orders as needed, ensuring that all orders meet quality standards. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation while adhering to safety protocols. Take cash and credit orders, write order tickets, expedite cooked pizzas. Skills Experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on pizza making and meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Familiarity with catering services is a plus. Proficient knife skills for effective food preparation.
