Graveyard Cashier Americourt Hotel 1900 American Way, Kingsport, TN 37660 Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience through excellent customer service and accurate transaction processing. Your role will involve handling cash, operating the cash register, and assisting with product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries. Conduct product demos to educate customers about new items and promotions. Upsell products to increase sales and enhance customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area. Stock shelves as needed to ensure product availability. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide a seamless shopping experience. Adhere to all store policies regarding cash handling and security. Experience Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous. Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, to assist customers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
