Centralized Telemetry, a department in whichtrained monitor technicians observe and analyze various heartrhythms of patients who are admitted to the Centralized TelemetryMonitoring system. Technicians monitor patients within BJH Northand South, as well as, BJ West County. Constant communication withnursing staff regarding changes in rhythm status is key to patientcare. Technicians will call CODES if lethal rhythms are detectedfor patient safety and positive outcome of patient conditionPreferred Qualifications Role Purpose Creates and implement staffeducation and professional development activities and programs thatoptimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans,implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professionaldevelopment activities and programs for clinical and non-clinicalareas.
- Collaborates with staff and representatives of otherorganizations to develop, present and or evaluate clinicallyfocused training, continuing education and or professionaldevelopment opportunities.
- Participates in activities thatpromote safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborateswith leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff anddevelops appropriate education plan.
- Participates in professionaldevelopment and life long learning. Minimum Requirements Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Nursing/Healthcare related
- Bachelor’sDegree
- Nursing/Healthcare related Experience
- 2-5 yearsSupervisor Experience
- No Experience Licenses & Certifications
- RN Preferred Requirements Education
- Master’s Degree

- 5-10 years Licenses & Certifications
