Job Description
TITLE Lead Drop Count Member
DESCRIPTION
Drop/Count Member safeguards the assets of the casino by removing, exchanging, collecting and accurately counting cash boxes from slot machines, table games, sportsbook and kiosks in accordance with established policies, procedures and gaming regulations.
EXAMPLES OF JOB DUTIES
Opens, removes and secures currency from the slot machines and table games. Removes cash boxes from gaming machine bases; replace empty boxes. Transports drop boxes to the count room. Ensures that all cash boxes are removed from carts. Ensures all monies are verified, proofed, strapped, and bricked with the required information on the straps. Accurately count slot machine currency drop and tickets.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma and 6 months of count experience required. Must have a Valid Driver’s License or State issued ID. Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit. Knowledge of Equipment used such as: Computers, Glory, calculator and JCM docking station.
