Our mission is to empower individuals to manage their health remotely using only smartphone cameras to capture vital health data. We are seeking energetic, compassionate, and driven individuals to join our team as Community Health Ambassadors. This role offers a valuable opportunity to build experience and advance your career, particularly for those pursuing careers in healthcare, nursing, social work, public health, or research. Ambassadors demonstrating strong performance will have the chance to advance into research assistant roles or other opportunities within PreemptiveAI. As a Community Health Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in understanding the health needs of adults over 65 in specific neighborhoods. Your primary responsibility will be engaging directly with community members, conducting brief surveys, and building connections to map our target population effectively.

Responsibilities:

Walk local neighborhoods to engage with community members aged 65 and older Conduct short, respectful, and informative surveys to understand community health needs Clearly explain the purpose of the survey and answer any basic questions participants may have Record accurate responses and demographic data Report survey findings and community insights to the internal team regularly Represent PreemptiveAI with professionalism and warmth, acting as an ambassador for community health Attend team check-ins and stay aligned with outreach goals and strategies Maintain accountability for your outreach goals and territory coverage

Required Qualifications:

Passion for community health, healthcare access, or social services Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with strangers respectfully Detail-oriented with excellent listening and note-taking skills Able to work on foot for several hours per day Strong interpersonal and communication skills Reliable and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

Current students or graduates in Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, or related fields Experience in community outreach, customer service, or canvassing Familiarity with survey tools or data collection apps Familiarity with or connection to the community being surveyed

$20/hour
