The rapid growth of our company has created a demand for someone who can step in and immediately hit the ground running. Our dynamic company provides an exciting, fun, and fast paced environment to work in as well as competitive compensation and performance incentives. The job is to coordinate distributed information from company’s marketing department and going door-to-door on behalf of their employer to generate leads. The best canvassers have excellent interpersonal skills and can deliver information persuasively. They are good at starting and maintaining meaningful conversations with strangers. Essential Responsibilities Memorize and recite sales scripts and statements prepared and provided by the employer. Go door-to-door to introduce the employer’s offers to potential and existing customers and make cold calls to follow-up, make pitches and get information to the office. Demonstrate a vast knowledge of the retail/damaged roof being canvassed to convince people to get an inspection and/or a visit from our in-house sales team. Get information, such as contact details and signatures, from potential leads and customers for follow-up. Confidently answer questions and rebuff excuses to meet objectives. Consistently meet daily and weekly quotas for customer information and signature acquisition. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication skills including eloquence, active listening and interpersonal skills. Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in sales & customer service. Sales experience, including the ability to learn about multiple products and sell without being aggressive. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel as required. Must have physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods, meeting and talking to people. Verifiable expertise with Microsoft Excel Office Suites Programs. Residential roofing experience with tile, asphalt shingles, and solar shingles is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus.
