Position:
Mayoral Campaign Canvasser Pay:
$17 per hour
Schedule:
Begins immediately and runs through Election Day What you’ll do
- Knock on doors of voters from an assigned list in the Bronx, Harlem, and occasionally Brooklyn
- Speak with residents about our mayoral candidate, answer basic questions, and record responses on a mobile app or paper sheet
- In some cases you may be asked to switch to phone-banking, calling voters from the same lists
- Attend a brief daily training / debrief to review goals and report results Requirements
- Comfortable walking several hours per shift and talking with strangers
- Able to use a smartphone or follow clear paper instructions
- Dependable, respectful, and enthusiastic about engaging voters Ready to get started?
