Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY (Canvassing is conducted outdoors near polling sites, NYCHA buildings, parks, transit hubs, and other high-traffic voter areas.)

Job Description:

We’re hiring motivated and outgoing Field Canvassers to help drive voter engagement in Red Hook, Brooklyn during NYC’s early voting period and on Election Day, June 24 . This is a great opportunity to get paid while making a difference in your community —whether you’re looking to build political experience or support grassroots efforts on the ground.

Responsibilities:

Knock on doors and engage local residents in positive, respectful conversations Distribute campaign literature and provide voting information Communicate the candidate’s platform clearly and confidently Track canvassing results and submit daily reports Represent the campaign professionally in diverse public settings

Work Schedule:

Available Shifts (Choose One or Work Both):

Morning Shift:

10:30 AM – 3:00

PM Evening Shift:

3:00 PM – 8:00

PM Flexible Days:

Shifts available daily during Early Voting through Tuesday, June 24, 2025 Additional work may be available after June 24 We’ll work with your availability — just let us know what days and shifts you’re available.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older Reliable, on-time, and committed to completing assigned shifts Comfortable talking with strangers and working outdoors Strong communication and people skills Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods Canvassing, sales, or customer service experience is a plus but not required Multilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
