We’re seeking a high-performing door-to-door sales trainer to lead, mentor, and develop new appointment setters in the field. While solar experience is a plus, we’re open to trainers from any industry with a proven track record of field sales leadership. This is a lucrative, performance-driven role with commission + profit sharing — ideal for someone who can lead from the front, close deals when needed, and create strong setters from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
Train and develop new door-to-door reps in solar appointment setting Lead daily in-field sessions with new recruits (hands-on, not behind a desk) Set and track performance metrics for trainees Deliver high-energy coaching that builds confidence and skill Step in to close deals when necessary to lead by example Collaborate with leadership to optimize scripts, objection handling, and team performance Contribute to a positive, fast-paced team culture
Qualifications:
Proven success in door-to-door sales and field training Experience in solar, home improvement, pest control, alarms, roofing, or similar industries Comfortable both setting appointments and closing deals when needed Strong communication, leadership, and people development skills Must be self-motivated, high energy, and comfortable being in the field daily Prior team leadership or management experience strongly preferred
