The Role As a Solar Energy Consultant, you’ll work directly with homeowners to help them understand solar energy benefits and savings. You’ll receive comprehensive training on our products, financing options, and proven sales process. Why This Position is Different Most solar companies hire anyone with a pulse. What You’ll Do:
Meet with homeowners to assess their energy needs Present solar solutions using our proven consultation process Build relationships in assigned territory through various outreach methods Work with installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction Participate in ongoing training and skill development
Career Progression:
Months 1-2: Complete training program ($3,000
- 7,000 in training pay/commissions and bonuses) Months 3-12: Develop expertise as Solar Consultant ($4,000
- 10,000/month) Year 2+: Advance to Senior Consultant or Team Lead ($8,000
- 25,000/month) Year 3+: Management or Specialist roles available ($12,000
- 35,000/month)
What You Need:
Sales experience preferred but not required for right candidate Strong communication and presentation skills Self-motivated with professional appearance Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle Willingness to learn technical aspects of solar energy
